The Petzl Falcon Mountain sit harness in black grey is particularly well suited for rescue operations carried out using lead-climbing techniques. The harness has a ventral attachment point with textile bridge, which facilitates movement using lead-climbing techniques and improves comfort when walking.
The sit harness is designed to be ultra-light and comfortable. Both the waist belt and leg loops are semi-rigid and narrow with 3D foam padding. This achieves an optimal balance between comfort and savings in weight and bulk. The waist belt is cut narrower at the hips to provide more comfort and freedom of movement when approaching and working on the ground. For occasional use, side attachment points made of webbing are provided, which reduce pack size and weight.
The sit harness is ergonomically designed and equipped with small self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles that allow quick and easy adjustment. The RING2RING accessory can be attached to the ventral attachment point to better organize equipment to be clipped in, such as lanyards, descenders, rope clamps or chest harness. In addition, the harness has a rear plastic loop to which a TOP or TOP CROLL L chest harness can be attached.
The harness offers four gear loops, including two large, rigid loops at the front that make it easier to access equipment, and two small, flexible loops at the back that do not interfere when carrying a backpack. Furthermore, the harness provides two attachment options for CARITOOL tool holders.
