The Story
The Walther Compact Knife Sharpener offers 2 sharpening angles for different types of knives. The 34° angle is suitable for kitchen knives, for example, while the 50° angle can be used for hunting and outdoor knives. The carbide inserts in the dark, coarse V-notch provide the basic sharpness. With the ceramic inserts in the fine white V-notch, you polish the blade and restore its original fine shine. Hold the knife sharpener in your left hand on the ribbed surface and press it onto a non-slip surface. After just three to four passes through the sharpener without applying force, the blade is ready for use again.
